Affise postback clock-out is not silent miss

How to run thisTraffic3 steps
CalculatorAffise postback-timeout share · Calculator lives in the articleOpen

Pull one Affise offer ledger. Count conversion posts that timed out. Divide by posts that should have arrived for that offer. The quotient × 100 is AF postback-timeout % — silent miss and refuse piles stay off this clock-out cut.

Pair: Postback-timeout share on Traffic. Miss twin: AF postback-miss. Refuse twin: AF postback-reject.

Clock-out ledger math

Timed-out postbacks — Affise conversion posts the offer ledger marked timed-out / clock-out at the endpoint.

Expected postbacks — Affise conversion posts the sales export says should have fired for that offer.

AF postback-timeout % = timed-out postbacks ÷ expected postbacks × 100. A hot AF postback-timeout % means endpoint SLA or partner fire latency on that Affise offer — chase that path; leave blank chips alone.

Guardrails

Do not invent AF postback-timeout %. Do not park never-arrived or refuse-pile rows in the timed-out count. Do not paste click-to-postback hour lags into share boxes. Do not merge Affise offers when one partner owns the clock-out pile.

Related: Traffic, AF postback-miss, AF postback-reject, AF click-fire lag.

Procedure

  1. Type timed-out postbacks and expected postbacks.
  2. Read AF postback-timeout %.
  3. Chase endpoint SLA when AF postback-timeout % is material.

Failure modes

  • Inventing AF postback-timeout %.
  • Folding never-arrived or refuse-pile rows into the timed-out count.
  • Pasting click-to-postback hour lags into share boxes.

Worked example

None on this page yet. When one lands it will be a real case: what broke, the number, and what changed. Not a composite.
