Blend spend on settled new orders

How to run thisTraffic4 steps
CalculatorBlended CAC calculator · Calculator lives in the articleOpen

Blended CAC is all paid acquisition spend — media plus affiliate — over settled new orders. A green Meta ROAS next to a dead affiliate does not survive the blend.

Pair: Blended CAC on settled new orders on Traffic. Bid caps sit on max CAC.

How to read it

Type paid media dollars, affiliate dollars (0 if unpaid), and settled new orders for the window. Read blended CAC. Compare to max CAC. Kill channels that blow the target even if their own UI looks green.

What not to do

Do not use sessions as the denominator. Do not count rebills as new. Do not leave paid affiliate out of the blend.

Related: Traffic, max CAC.

Procedure

  1. Sum spend you actually paid.
  2. Count settled new orders.
  3. Read blended CAC.
  4. Kill channels that blow the target even if their UI looks green.

Failure modes

  • Denominator of sessions.
  • Including rebills as new orders.
  • Leaving affiliate out if they are paid.

Worked example

None on this page yet. When one lands it will be a real case: what broke, the number, and what changed. Not a composite.

FAQ

Can I leave affiliate out of blended CAC?
Only if they are unpaid. If you pay CPA or rev-share, type it.
Do rebills count as new orders?
No. Settled new customers only. Rebills sit on subscription CAC.
Is blended the same as max CAC?
No. Blended is what you paid. Max CAC is what contribution can bear.
