RedTrack path-cap hit is not BuyGoods network-cap hit
On one RedTrack click-path ceiling cut, RT path-cap % is ceiling-hit paths ÷ live paths × 100.
Pair: Offer-cap hit share on Traffic. BuyGoods twin: network-cap. Park twin: offer-pause.
What you type
Offers at cap — RedTrack click-paths sitting on a written daily or lifetime ceiling in the cut.
Active offers — Live RedTrack paths that could still take clicks on that cut.
Divide ceiling-hit by live, then × 100 for RT path-cap %. A fat RT path-cap % usually means the ceiling was left short while traffic still wants the path — raise the ceiling or reroute; never invent an RT path-cap chip.
What not to do
Do not invent RT path-cap %. Do not paste a BuyGoods network-cap or Voluum tracker-cap export into RedTrack click-path fields. Do not treat paused or creative-rejected paths as ceiling hits. Do not blend RedTrack seats when one path owns the capped pile.
Related: Traffic, BuyGoods network-cap, offer-pause, postback-reject.
Procedure
- Type offers at cap and active offers.
- Read RT path-cap %.
- Raise caps / shift traffic when RT path-cap % is material.
Failure modes
- Inventing RT path-cap %.
- Dumping a BuyGoods or Voluum offer-cap file into RedTrack path-cap fields.
- Folding RedTrack offer-pause or creative-reject into path-cap hits.
Worked example
None on this page yet. When one lands it will be a real case: what broke, the number, and what changed. Not a composite.

FAQ
- Is this BuyGoods network-cap hit?
- Affiliate network grain, not RedTrack click-paths. [BuyGoods offer-cap hit](/manuals/buygoods-offer-cap-hit-share) counts network offers at ceiling. Here you only score RedTrack click-path ceilings.
- Is a paused path the same as a capped path?
- No. [Offer-pause share](/manuals/redtrack-offer-pause-share) is parked paths ÷ live paths. This page is ceiling-hit paths ÷ live paths.
- Can I invent RT path-cap %?
- No. Count ceiling-hit paths and live paths from the same RedTrack click-path ceiling cut.
