Enrollment lag leaves MIDs unprotected
Alert tools only cover enrolled MIDs. Lag days × MIDs × fee $ = unprotected exposure. Type MIDs, lag days, and fee $ / MID-day.
Pair: Enrollment lag per MID on Chargebacks. Reply SLA: alert response clocks. Decision: alert refund vs fight.
What you type
MIDs — merchant accounts still waiting on alert / RDR / Ethoca enrollment in the window.
Lag days — average (or stated) days from request to live enrollment for that set.
Fee $ / MID-day — alert fee or expected CB fee dollars you use as exposure per MID per lag day.
Unprotected $ = MIDs × lag days × fee. Chase enrollment when unprotected $ is material — do not invent a lag chip.
What not to do
Do not invent lag days. Do not treat “submitted” as enrolled. Do not mix response-time SLAs into enrollment lag. Do not ignore MIDs that share a descriptor but were never added to the portal.
