Pair: Refund-before-alert waste on Chargebacks. Fee EV: alert fee vs CB. Fight clock: alert-to-fight lag.
What you type
Overlap refund $ — refund dollars already issued on orders that later (or still) took an alert fee.
Alert fees $ — alert / RDR fees charged on that same overlap set.
Waste $ = overlap refund + alert fees. Tighten refund-before-alert rules when waste is fat — do not invent a waste chip.
What not to do
Do not invent waste $. Do not mix non-overlap refunds into the overlap set. Do not treat fight wins as alert fee savings here. Do not average every MID when one owns the hole.
