Forter fight wins are not Ethoca fight wins
Open one Forter dispute workspace. Count merchant-won cases. Divide by cases you actually contested. The quotient × 100 is FT win %.
Pair: Representment win rate on Chargebacks. Ethoca twin: Ethoca win. Chargeblast twin: Chargeblast win.
Workspace math
Merchant-won cases — Forter disputes the workspace closed as merchant-won in the window.
Cases contested — Forter disputes you filed on that same workspace (exclude auto-accepts).
FT win % = merchant-won cases ÷ cases contested × 100. A thin FT win % usually means the evidence pack or reason pick on that workspace — fix that path; leave blank chips alone.
Guardrails
Do not invent FT win %. Do not paste Ethoca or Chargeblast fight exports into Forter fields. Do not park auto-accepts in the won pile. Do not merge Forter workspaces when one MID owns the loss rate.
Related: Chargebacks, Ethoca win, Chargeblast win, false-positive CB.
Procedure
- Type closed wins and disputes fought.
- Read FT win %.
- Repair evidence pack / reason selection when FT win % is thin.
Failure modes
- Inventing FT win %.
- Loading Ethoca or Chargeblast fight files into Forter boxes.
- Counting auto-accepts as wins.
Worked example
None on this page yet. When one lands it will be a real case: what broke, the number, and what changed. Not a composite.

- Separate CE book. [Representment win rate](/manuals/chargeblast-representment-win-rate) stays on Chargeblast. Forter owns every count on this page.
- What FT win % should I invent?
- None. Source merchant-won cases and cases contested from the same Forter dispute workspace.
