Kount risk-alert cover is not Kount live-MID count

How to run thisChargebacks3 steps
CalculatorKount alert-coverage gap · Calculator lives in the articleOpen

On one Kount risk-cover roster, divide uncovered seats (enrolled − covered) by enrolled MIDs. That quotient is KT seat-gap %.

Pair: Alert-coverage gap on Chargebacks. MID-alert twin: Kount risk-seat. Forter twin: risk cover.

What you type

Covered MIDs — Enrolled Kount seats that already take risk alerts in the roster window.

Enrolled MIDs — Kount enrolled seats in that same roster.

KT seat-gap % = (enrolled − covered) ÷ enrolled × 100. When KT seat-gap % runs fat, seats are enrolled but not wired for risk alerts — wire them; never invent a KT seat-gap chip.

What not to do

Do not invent KT seat-gap %. Do not dump a Kount live-MID alert-seat roster or Forter risk-cover file into Kount covered/enrolled fields. Do not fold RDR-coverage or velocity-block into risk-cover gaps. Do not blend brands when one MID owns the hole.

Related: Chargebacks, Kount risk-seat, Forter risk cover, velocity block.

Procedure

  1. Type covered MIDs and enrolled MIDs.
  2. Read KT seat-gap %.
  3. Wire uncovered Kount risk-alert seats when KT seat-gap % is material.

Failure modes

  • Inventing KT seat-gap %.
  • Dumping a Kount MID-alert live roster or Forter risk-cover file into Kount covered/enrolled fields.
  • Folding Kount RDR mix or velocity-block share into risk-alert cover gaps.

Worked example

None on this page yet. When one lands it will be a real case: what broke, the number, and what changed. Not a composite.

FAQ

Is this Kount MID alert coverage gap?
Live-vs-enrolled grain. [MID alert coverage gap](/manuals/kount-mid-alert-coverage-gap) compares live MIDs to enrolled. This page only asks how many enrolled Kount seats still lack a risk-alert pipe.
Is Forter risk cover the same as Kount risk cover?
No. [Forter alert-coverage gap](/manuals/forter-alert-coverage-gap) scores Forter risk seats. Here you only count Kount uncovered risk seats vs enrolled MIDs.
Can I invent KT seat-gap %?
No. Pull covered MIDs and enrolled MIDs from the same Kount risk-cover roster.
