Library · Traffic · How to run this
The affiliate cap filled. The CRM did not stop.
Everflow-class caps stop crediting. Sticky-class CRM keeps selling. Past the cap you still pay product, shipping, and the processor. Partners see “capped” and leave. Type the written cap $ and CRM sold $ for the same window.
Pair: Affiliate cap vs CRM on Traffic. Three books: tracker vs CRM vs settled. Late CB: clawback window.
What you type
Affiliate cap $ — daily or offer cap in the tracker / IO (dollars, not a guessed percent).
CRM sold $ — paid/sold in the CRM for that same window and timezone.
Uncredited = max(0, CRM − cap). That slice has no partner credit. It still has COGS.
What not to do
Do not leave the funnel open “just in case” after cap. Do not invent a typical cap %. Do not mix processor settled into the cap math — recon that on three books. Do not treat uncredited CRM as free tests.

Procedure
- Type written cap $ for the window.
- Type CRM sold $ for the same days and timezone.
- Pause intake if uncredited CRM is a pile you cannot staff.
Failure modes
- Leaving the funnel open after cap.
- Inventing a typical cap percent.
- Mixing processor settled into the cap math.
Worked example
None on this page yet. When one lands it will be a real case: what broke, the number, and what changed. Not a composite.

- No. [Three books](/manuals/tracker-vs-crm-vs-settled) recon three dollar systems. This page is a written cap vs CRM still taking orders.
- Is this late chargeback clawback?
- No. [Late CB vs window](/manuals/affiliate-cb-clawback) is CPA already paid then a CB. This page is volume the tracker will not credit because the cap filled.
- Do I pause the CRM when the cap fills?
- If you still want partner traffic tomorrow, yes — or you eat uncredited ads plus billed COGS.
