Put FBA and referral into net

How to run thisStock / inventory4 steps
CalculatorFBA fee waterfall · Calculator lives in the articleOpen

ACOS is ad spend over advertised sales. Net is what remains after referral, FBA fulfillment, and landed COGS. Scaling Amazon Ads on ACOS while net is thin is how you buy volume you cannot keep.

Pair: FBA + referral into net on Stock. Paste net into max CAC as contribution before you scale Amazon Ads.

How to read it

Type current item price, category referral %, FBA fee from the live table, and landed COGS. Read net. If net cannot fund CAC and float, do not scale. Thin cover still kills the plan on stock.

What not to do

Do not treat ACOS as contribution. Do not reuse an old FBA PDF. Do not ignore A-to-Z as a refund line.

Related: Stock, max CAC, Traffic.

Procedure

  1. Put current price, referral, FBA, landed COGS.
  2. Read net.
  3. If net is thin, do not scale Amazon Ads.
  4. Check A-to-Z overlap on refunds.

Failure modes

  • Using ACOS as net.
  • Old FBA tables.
  • Ignoring A-to-Z as a refund analog.

Worked example

None on this page yet. When one lands it will be a real case: what broke, the number, and what changed. Not a composite.

Glossary

FAQ

Is a 25% ACOS healthy?
Not by itself. Convert ACOS to CAC, then subtract FBA and referral into net before you bid.
Can I reuse last year’s FBA fee?
No. Type the current table for this size/weight. Old PDFs lie.
Is A-to-Z part of FBA fee?
No. A-to-Z is a refund analog. It hits contribution separately.
