Argyle pay-rail settle-short is not Braintree partial settle
Partial-settled $ ÷ captured $ make AG settle-short % on one Argyle pay-rail window. Type both.
Pair: Partial-settle gap on Payments. Vault twin: Braintree settle. Hold twin: partial-auth.
What you type
Partial-settled $ — Dollars Argyle settled as partial (less than full capture) in the pay-rail window.
Captured $ — Captured dollars in that same Argyle pay-rail window.
AG settle-short % = partial-settled $ ÷ captured $ × 100. Fat AG settle-short % usually means multi-capture / settle rules on that rail — chase that path; never invent an AG settle-short chip.
What not to do
Skip inventing AG settle-short %. Skip pouring a Braintree or Authorize.net partial-settle export into Argyle fields. Skip treating first-hold short as settle short. Skip blending rails when one pay-rail owns the short pile.
Related: Payments, Braintree settle, partial-auth, void-fail.

FAQ
- Is this Braintree partial-settle gap?
- Vault settle-short vs pay-rail settle-short. [Partial-settle gap](/manuals/braintree-partial-settle-gap) stays on Braintree. Partial / captured dollars never leave Argyle here.

- First-hold short vs settle short. [Partial-auth gap](/manuals/argyle-partial-auth-gap) scores ask minus approved hold. Here you split partial-settled $ by captured $.
- What AG settle-short % should I invent?
- None. Source partial-settled $ and captured $ from the same Argyle pay-rail export.
