Settlement reject is not NMI batch reject
Settlement rejects ÷ settlement batches make reject %. Type both.
Pair: Settlement-reject share on Payments. NMI: settlement-batch reject share. Argyle: batch reject share.
What you type
Settlement rejects — Authorize.net settlement batches that rejected in the window.
Settlement batches — Settlement batches in that same Authorize.net window.
Reject % = settlement rejects ÷ settlement batches × 100. Fix batch cutoffs / MID setup when reject % is fat — do not invent a reject chip.
What not to do
Do not invent reject %. Do not mix NMI batch rejects into Auth.net counts. Do not treat eCheck returns as settlement rejects. Do not average every MID when one owns the hole.
