Duplicate alerts inflate the intake count
Alert portals can fire more than once on the same order. Type alerts and unique orders. Dup % = (alerts - unique orders) / alerts x 100.
Pair: Alert duplicate rate on Chargebacks. Enrollment: enrollment lag per MID. Reply SLA: alert response clocks.
What you type
Alerts - total alert rows in the window (all networks / providers you care about).
Unique orders - distinct orders those alerts map to.
Duplicate alerts = alerts - unique orders. Dup % = duplicates / alerts x 100. Dedupe before staffing or fee math when dup % is material - do not invent a dup chip.
What not to do
Do not invent a duplicate percent. Do not treat every alert row as a unique order. Do not fold enrollment lag into this dup count. Do not bill labor on duplicates as if each were a new case.
