Session timeout is not a timer step
A session timeout kills the cart without a decline code. Drop % = timeouts ÷ sessions × 100. Type both.
Pair: Session timeout drop on Orchestration. Timer step: funnel timer drop. Upsell: upsell chain drop.
What you type
Timeouts — checkout sessions ended by idle / session timeout in the window.
Sessions — total checkout sessions in that same window.
Drop % = timeouts ÷ sessions × 100. Raise timeout or cut friction when drop % is fat — do not invent a drop chip.
What not to do
Do not invent drop %. Do not mix countdown timer exits into idle timeouts. Do not treat payment declines as timeouts. Do not blend all funnels when one owns the timeout pile.
