Marketplace VAT is not net payout
Marketplace dashboards show gross. VAT % and fees come out before anything is spendable. Net payout = gross − VAT $ − fees. Type those three — invent no VAT chip.
Pair: VAT vs net payout on Payments. Timing: marketplace payout lag. Refund share: marketplace refund gravity.
What you type
Gross $ — marketplace gross for the window (the line before VAT and fees).
VAT % — written VAT on that statement / invoice (not a blog EU average).
Fees $ — network / processing fees taken on the same window.
VAT $ = gross × VAT %. Net = gross − VAT $ − fees. Bid and pay vendors on net — not gross.
What not to do
Do not invent a VAT percent. Do not treat payout lag days as VAT math. Do not mix refund gravity into the fee line. Do not bid ads on marketplace gross as if it were bank cash.
