NMI hard kills are not Solidgate hard kills
Take the NMI decline pile for one MID window. Hard share = hard count ÷ pile total × 100. That is NM hard-decline %. Enter hard count and pile total.
Pair: Hard-decline share on Payments. Solidgate twin: Solidgate hard. Soft twin: NMI soft.
Fields
Hard count — NMI issuer codes tagged hard / terminal in that MID window.
Pile total — Soft plus hard NMI declines in the same export.
NM hard-decline % = hard count ÷ pile total × 100. When NM hard-decline % runs high, cut hard burns and widen soft retry elsewhere — leave blank chips alone.
Stops
Leave NM hard-decline % blank rather than invent. Keep soft-only counts out of the hard pile. Keep Solidgate decline rows out of NMI boxes. Keep one NMI MID per run when that seat owns the mix.

Procedure
- Type hard declines and all declines.
- Read NM hard-decline %.
- Cut hard burns when NM hard-decline % is material.
Failure modes

FAQ
- Is this Solidgate hard-decline share?
- Different processor ledger. [Hard-decline share](/manuals/solidgate-hard-decline-share) stays on Solidgate. Hard / all counts never leave NMI here.
- Is this an NMI soft-decline share page?
- Hard / terminal pile vs soft retry pile. Soft-decline pages stay on soft codes. Here you only score hard declines over all declines on NMI.
- What NM hard-decline % should I invent?
- None. Source hard declines and all declines from the same NMI decline file.
