NMI partial settle is not Braintree partial settle
Open one NMI cut. Put partial-settled $ over captured $. That is the gap %.
Pair: Partial-settle gap on Payments. Braintree: partial-settle gap. Auth: partial auth gap.
What you type
Partial-settled $ — Dollars NMI settled as partial (less than full capture) in the cut.
Captured $ — Captured dollars in that same NMI cut.
Gap % = partial-settled $ ÷ captured $ × 100. When gap % is fat, fix multi-capture / settle rules — never type a fake gap %.
What not to do
Skip inventing a gap %. Skip dumping a Braintree CSV into the NMI fields. Skip treating partial-auth as partial-settle. Skip blending MIDs when one MID owns the skew.
