SeamlessChex ACH-capture fail is not Spreedly vault capture fail
SC capture-fail % asks how many SeamlessChex ACH capture attempts bounce after auth on one ACH cut. Failed captures count. Every capture attempt in that cut sits under.
Pair: Capture-fail share on Payments. Vault twin: Spreedly capture-fail. Expire twin: auth-expire.
What you type
Capture fails — SeamlessChex ACH capture attempts that failed in the cut.
Capture attempts — Capture attempts in that same SeamlessChex ACH cut.
SC capture-fail % = capture fails ÷ capture attempts × 100. A fat SC capture-fail % usually means ACH capture rules or bank rails on that seat — chase those before you widen auth volume. Never invent a SC capture-fail chip.
What not to do
Do not invent SC capture-fail %. Do not paste a Spreedly vault or Primer or NMI capture-fail file into SeamlessChex fields. Do not treat auth expires or void fails as capture fails. Do not blend MIDs when one ACH seat owns the bounce pile.
Related: Payments, Spreedly capture-fail, auth-expire, void-fail share.

FAQ
- Is this Spreedly capture-fail share?
- Vault capture vs ACH capture. [Capture-fail share](/manuals/spreedly-capture-fail-share) reads Spreedly vault captures. Here both counts are SeamlessChex ACH-cut rows.
- Is this SeamlessChex auth-expire share?
- Dead holds vs failed captures. [Auth-expire share](/manuals/seamless-auth-expire-share) is ACH auths that expired. This page is capture attempts that failed.
- What SC capture-fail % should I invent?
- None. Pull capture fails and capture attempts from the same SeamlessChex ACH cut.
