Queue depth is not review lag dollars
Open reviews ÷ capacity is depth. Over-capacity = max(0, open − capacity). Type both.
Pair: Review queue depth on Chargebacks. Lag $: manual review lag. EV: fraud review queue cost.
What you type
Open reviews — orders sitting in manual review now (fraud queue export).
Capacity — reviews your team can clear in the same window (typed headcount × clear rate).
Depth = open ÷ capacity. Over-capacity = open − capacity when open is larger. Staff or tighten rules when depth is above 1× — do not invent a depth chip.
What not to do
Do not invent depth. Do not mix auto-blocks into open reviews. Do not treat challenge step-ups as capacity. Do not average every brand when one owns the queue.
