Content uniformity is not blend uniformity
CU fails ÷ batches make CU fail %. Type both.
Pair: Content-uniformity fail rate on Stock. Blend path: blend-uniformity fail rate. Bulk assay: potency-fail rate.
What you type
CU fails — Finished dosage units outside the Eagle Labs content-uniformity acceptance value (label-claim window) in the CU export.
Batches — Batches covered by that same CU assay export.
CU fail % = CU fails ÷ batches × 100. Re-run feeder / fill maps when CU fail % is fat — do not invent a CU chip.
What not to do
Do not invent CU fail %. Do not paste blender-sample fails onto unit-dose counts. Do not treat bulk potency as CU. Do not blend friability press data into the assay export.
Related: Stock, blend-uniformity fail rate, potency-fail rate, hardness-fail rate.
Procedure
- Type CU fails and batches from the assay export.
- Read CU fail %.
- Re-run feeder / fill maps when CU fail % is material.
Failure modes
- Inventing CU fail %.
- Pasting blender-sample fails onto unit-dose counts.
- Treating bulk potency as CU.
Worked example
None on this page yet. When one lands it will be a real case: what broke, the number, and what changed. Not a composite.

FAQ
- Is this blend-uniformity fail rate?
- Powder-mix path. [Blend-uniformity fail rate](/manuals/nutrascience-blend-uniformity-fail-rate) is blender samples. This page is finished-unit dose assay fails ÷ batches.
- Is this potency-fail rate?
- Sibling Eagle Labs assay. [Potency-fail rate](/manuals/eagle-labs-potency-fail-rate) is bulk assay. This page is content-uniformity across dosage units.
- What CU fail % should I invent?
- None. Type CU fails and batches from the same Eagle Labs CU export.
