Stability fail is not hold days
Stability fails ÷ batch units make fail %. Type both.
Pair: Stability fail rate on Stock. Hold: stability hold. Yield: yield loss rate.
What you type
Stability fails — units that failed stability in the window.
Batch units — units in that same batch window.
Fail % = stability fails ÷ batch units × 100. Fix formula or process when fail % is fat — do not invent a fail chip.
What not to do
Do not invent fail %. Do not mix hold days into unit counts. Do not treat packaging scrap as stability fails. Do not average every SKU when one owns the hole.
