False positives still cost AOV
False-positive hard blocks kill good orders. Lost $ = false positives × AOV. Type false positives and AOV $.
Pair: False-positive cost on Chargebacks. Mix: block vs review mix. Piles: fraud block vs issuer.
What you type
False positives — good orders hard-blocked that you later cleared as false positives (fraud export).
AOV $ — average order value on that blocked set (or book AOV for the window).
Lost $ = false positives × AOV. Loosen rules or review path when lost $ is material — do not invent a lost chip.
What not to do
Do not invent lost $. Do not mix true fraud blocks into false positives. Do not treat reviews as blocks. Do not ignore AOV when count looks small.
