Actual lead days minus promised lead days is slip. Type both.
Pair: Raw-material lead slip on Stock. Hold: microbial hold. Lot: CoA lot mismatch.
What you type
Promised days — written lead days on the raw PO / supplier quote.
Actual days — calendar days from order to receive / release of that raw.
Slip days = actual − promised. Positive slip means late. Cut ads or raise cover when slip is fat — do not invent a slip chip.
What not to do
Do not invent slip days. Do not fold QA hold days into raw lead without splitting. Do not treat dock arrival as release. Do not average every SKU when one owns the hole.
