Open one ShipBob FC stage export. Note carrier-handoff day. Subtract stage-enter day. That dwell is SB staging-dwell lag days. Keep units on the export so volume stays honest.
Pair: Staging-dwell lag on Stock. Fullstack twin: FS staging-dwell. Dock twin: dock-to-ship.
FC stage export fields
Stage-enter day — Day ShipBob moved cartons onto the outbound stage.
Carrier-handoff day — Day those cartons left the stage to the carrier.
Units — ShipBob units on that stage-enter → handoff slice.
SB staging-dwell lag days = carrier-handoff day − stage-enter day. When the dwell fattens, clear the outbound stage before you buy more inbound — never invent a blank chip.
What not to do
