Count cash at the first rebill, not at convert
Trial convert is a CRM percentage. First rebill cash is what settles on the MIT. Bidding on convert while first rebill approval is soft is how trial media looks cheap and the MID dies.
Pair: Trial convert vs first rebill cash on Subscriptions.
How to read it
Type starters, convert to paid %, first rebill approval %, and rebill $. Read settled first-rebill cash. If that number cannot fund the trial CAC, do not scale trials. Gap between initial and rebill sits on initial vs rebill approval. Surviving cycles after rebill one sit on subscription CAC.
What not to do
Do not bid on convert alone. Do not treat billed rebill sticker as settled. Do not buy more trials while MIT approval is the hole.

Failure modes
- Bidding on trial convert.
- Ignoring MIT approval.
- Using list price instead of the continuity price.
Worked example
None on this page yet. When one lands it will be a real case: what broke, the number, and what changed. Not a composite.

FAQ
- Can I bid on trial convert rate?
- No. Convert without a settled first rebill is not cash. MIT approval still has to clear.
- Is first rebill the same as surviving-cycle LTV?
- No. This page stops at the first settled rebill. Surviving cycles sit on subscription CAC.
- Wide initial vs rebill gap — what first?
- Fix the rebill path before buying more trials. See initial vs rebill approval.
