Friability fail is not disintegration fail
Drum mass-loss fails ÷ batches make fail %. Type both.
Pair: Friability-fail rate on Stock. Bath: disintegration-fail rate. Crush: hardness-fail rate.
What you type
Friability fails — Batches that failed the Eagle Labs friability drum on mass loss.
Batches — Batches put through that same drum check.
Fail % = friability fails ÷ batches × 100. Fix binder, dwell, or press force when fail % is fat. Do not invent a fail chip.
What not to do
Do not invent fail %. Do not fold bath-break fails into drum scrap. Do not paste crush-force fails onto the drum. Do not blend SKUs when one press lot owns the hole.
Related: Stock, disintegration-fail rate, hardness-fail rate, tablet-compress reject rate.
