Fullstack pack-miss is not ShipBob box-miss

How to run thisStock / inventory3 steps
CalculatorFullstack cartonization miss rate · Calculator lives in the articleOpen

Score pack-misses against shipments on one Fullstack pack cut, then multiply by fee $/miss. That score is FS pack-miss %.

Pair: Cartonization miss rate on Stock. ShipBob twin: box-miss. Lag twin: pick-to-ship.

What you type

Cartonization misses — Fullstack shipments where pack / cartonization picked the wrong carton on the pack cut.

Shipments — Shipments in that same Fullstack pack cut.

Fee $ / miss — Typed fee or surcharge dollars per miss (repack / dimensional / override).

FS pack-miss % = misses ÷ shipments × 100. Fee $ = misses × fee $ / miss. Fat FS pack-miss % usually means pack rules at that station — chase that seat; never invent an FS pack-miss chip.

What not to do

Never invent FS pack-miss %. Never dump a ShipBob or ShipMonk cartonization file into Fullstack pack fields. Never fold pick-to-ship lag or on-time miss into pack misses. Never blend nodes when one pack seat owns the miss pile.

Related: Stock, ShipBob box-miss, pick-to-ship, on-time miss.

Procedure

  1. Type cartonization misses, shipments, and fee $ / miss.
  2. Read FS pack-miss % and fee $.
  3. Fix pack rules when FS pack-miss % is material.

Failure modes

  • Inventing FS pack-miss %.
  • Dumping a ShipBob or ShipMonk cartonization file into Fullstack fields.
  • Folding Fullstack pick-to-ship lag or on-time miss into pack misses.

Worked example

None on this page yet. When one lands it will be a real case: what broke, the number, and what changed. Not a composite.
