Fullstack dock ASN is not sellable putaway

How to run thisStock / inventory3 steps
CalculatorFullstack inbound ASN variance · Calculator lives in the articleOpen

A Fullstack ASN is a promise. Received and damaged decide sellable. Sellable = received − damaged. FS ASN variance % = (ASN − sellable) ÷ ASN × 100.

Pair: Inbound ASN variance on Stock. ShipMonk twin: ShipMonk ASN. Cover clock: receiving is not sellable.

Inputs

ASN units — units on the advance ship notice / PO inbound for this Fullstack receipt.

Received — units Fullstack counted in (gross, before damaged pull-out).

Damaged — of received, units marked damaged / unsellable on that receipt.

Sellable = received − damaged. Shortfall = ASN − sellable. Chase the vendor or Fullstack dock when FS ASN variance % is material — leave blank chips alone.

Hard stops

Leave FS ASN variance % blank rather than invent. Keep ShipMonk receive rows out of Fullstack boxes. Keep ASN out of on-hand cover. Keep damaged in the math when received looks “full.”

Related: Stock, ShipMonk ASN, receiving is not sellable, putaway lag.

Procedure

  1. Type ASN units, received, and damaged.
  2. Read FS ASN variance %.
  3. Chase vendor or dock when FS ASN variance % is material.

Failure modes

  • Inventing FS ASN variance %.
  • Dumping ShipMonk receive rows into Fullstack boxes.
  • Treating ASN as on-hand cover.

Worked example

None on this page yet. When one lands it will be a real case: what broke, the number, and what changed. Not a composite.

Glossary

FAQ

Is this ShipMonk inbound ASN variance?
Different 3PL dock. [Inbound ASN variance](/manuals/shipmonk-inbound-asn-variance) stays on ShipMonk. ASN / received / damaged never leave Fullstack here.
Is this receiving not sellable cover?
Related inbound clock. [Receiving is not sellable](/manuals/receiving-not-sellable) is cover before dock-in. This page is ASN vs sellable units after Fullstack receive.
What FS ASN variance % should I invent?
None. Pull ASN, received, and damaged from the same Fullstack receive report.
