NutraScience yield variance is not yield loss
Open one NutraScience Labs release ticket. Read actual yield %. Subtract SOP yield %. Absolute value in percentage points is NS yield-variance pp.
Tool: Yield variance under Stock. Neighbor on Eagle: Eagle yield variance. Loss counterpart: yield loss.
Ticket columns
Actual yield % — Good released units ÷ planned units × 100 on that NutraScience release.
SOP yield % — Written target yield % on the same NutraScience ticket / SOP line.
NS yield-variance pp = |actual yield % − SOP yield %|. Rising NS yield-variance pp means pull the process owner on that SKU before you rewrite cover — blank chips stay blank.
Stops
Never invent NS yield-variance pp. Never fold packaging scrap into actual yield % without a split. Never paste an Eagle Labs variance CSV into NutraScience columns. Never fuse tickets when one NutraScience SKU owns the drift.
