Pause and skip leave different cash
Pause and skip both defer a rebill, but the lost contribution stacks on each path. Type pauses, skips, and margin $ per deferred cycle. Path delta = |pause lost - skip lost|.

What you type
Pauses - pause events in the window (CRM / subscription export).
Skips - skip events in the same window (do not fold cancels in).
Margin $ - contribution margin dollars per deferred cycle (typed from your book - not a guessed %).
Pause lost = pauses x margin $. Skip lost = skips x margin $. Read which path is heavier before you push saves toward pause or skip - do not invent a margin chip.
What not to do
