ShipBob dock lag is not ShipMonk pick-to-ship
Subtract pick hour from ship hour for one ShipBob fulfill cut. That difference is dock-lag hours.
Pair: Pick-to-ship lag on Stock. ShipMonk twin: pick-to-ship. Inbound twin: putaway lag.
What you type
Pick hour — Hour index when the ShipBob cohort was picked (fulfill-cut clock).
Ship hour — Hour index when those orders shipped.
Orders — Orders in that same ShipBob pick-to-ship cohort.
Dock-lag hours = ship hour − pick hour. Fat dock-lag hours usually means pack / carrier cut — chase that path; never invent a dock-lag chip.
What not to do
Skip inventing dock-lag hours. Skip dumping a ShipMonk pick-to-ship file into ShipBob fields. Skip folding inbound putaway into pick hour. Skip averaging every warehouse when one dock owns the stall.
