Mispicks cost AOV plus reship
A mispick burns product dollars and a reship. Type mispicks, AOV $, and reship $. Cost $ = mispicks x (AOV + reship).
Pair: Pick accuracy cost on Stock. Inbound: ASN variance. Recall: lot recall hold.
What you type
Mispicks - wrong-pick / wrong-SKU ship events in the window.
AOV $ - average order value on those mispicked orders (or replacement goods $).
Reship $ - label / pick / pack cost to correct one mispick.
Cost per mispick = AOV + reship. Total = mispicks x that sum. Fix slotting or pick path when cost is material - do not invent a mispick chip.
What not to do
Do not invent a mispick rate. Do not fold ASN inbound variance into pick cost. Do not omit reship labor. Do not average every SKU when one aisle owns the hole.
Related: Stock, ASN variance, lot recall hold, receiving is not sellable.
