Open one ShipMonk warehouse lane export. Note dock-push day. Subtract pack-lane enter day. That dwell is MK staging-dwell lag days. Keep units on the export so volume stays honest.

Warehouse lane fields
Pack-lane enter day — Day ShipMonk moved cartons into the pack lane.
Dock-push day — Day those cartons left the lane toward the dock.
Units — ShipMonk units on that pack-lane → dock-push slice.
MK staging-dwell lag days = dock-push day − pack-lane enter day. When the dwell fattens, clear the pack lane before you buy more inbound — never invent a blank chip.
What not to do
