MIT mix is not CIT mix
MIT and CIT are different attempt families. Mix % = MIT ÷ (MIT + CIT). Type MIT attempts, CIT attempts, and approvals.
Pair: MIT vs CIT mix on Subscriptions. Evidence priors: CE 3.0 CIT vs MIT. Cycle grain: initial vs rebill.
What you type
MIT attempts — merchant-initiated auth attempts in the window (CRM / gateway).
CIT attempts — customer-initiated auth attempts in the same window.
Approvals — approved attempts across both families in that window.
MIT mix % = MIT ÷ total. CIT mix % = CIT ÷ total. Approval % = approvals ÷ total. Read dispute and retry policy against the mix you typed — do not invent a mix chip.
What not to do
Do not invent a mix percent. Do not fold voids into approvals. Do not mix windows between MIT and CIT exports. Do not treat CE 3.0 prior tables as your portfolio mix.
