Vitaquest retest dwell is not NutraScience plant assay ledger
Pull one Vitaquest lab book. Note the second QC pass day. Subtract the first potency stamp. That wait is VQ assay-retest lag days. Keep lots next to the wait so the book width stays honest.
Pair: Assay-retest lag on Stock. NutraScience twin: NS assay-retest. Quarantine twin: quarantine-release.
Lab book fields
First potency stamp — Day Vitaquest logged the opening potency / marker result for the lot.
Second QC pass day — Day that lot cleared its follow-up QC assay.
Lots — Vitaquest lots inside that opening-potency → second-pass window.
VQ assay-retest lag days = second QC pass day − first potency stamp. When the wait fattens, staff the Vitaquest lab desk — never invent a blank chip.
Hard stops
Do not invent VQ assay-retest lag days. Do not drop quarantine-release or assay-fail tallies into potency / second-pass boxes. Do not paste NutraScience plant CSVs into Vitaquest fields. Do not merge co-mans when one Vitaquest seat owns the lab book.
Related: Stock, NS assay-retest, quarantine-release, assay-fail rate.

FAQ
- Is this NutraScience assay-retest lag?
- Vitaquest lab book vs NutraScience plant assay ledger. [Assay-retest lag](/manuals/nutrascience-assay-retest-lag) stays on NutraScience. Potency / second-pass stamps never leave Vitaquest here.
- Is this Vitaquest quarantine-release lag?
- Second QC pass wait vs quarantine exit. [Quarantine-release lag](/manuals/vitaquest-quarantine-release-lag) aligns release against quarantine. Here you only measure second QC pass minus first potency stamp on lots.
- What VQ assay-retest lag days should I invent?
- None. Source first potency stamp, second QC pass day, and lots from the same Vitaquest lab book.
