A 3PL with two warehouses prints one on-hand number. Ads still ship from one building. Cover there can be two days while the other warehouse is fat. Pacing into the blend stocks out the ads ship-from and still spends.

What you type

Ads ship-from units — sellable on-hand at the warehouse checkout actually uses for this offer / ZIP map.

Other warehouse units — the rest of that SKU on the 3PL map (blank zero is allowed).

Units / day from that ads ship-from, not catalog average.

Ads ship-from cover = those units ÷ units/day. Blended cover uses the sum. If blended days sit well above ads ship-from days, the blend is lying.

What not to do

Do not average warehouses so a dead ads building looks covered. Do not count in-transit between buildings as ads ship-from on-hand. Do not invent a 14-day chip. Do not mix FBA sellable into the 3PL warehouse.

Procedure

  1. Name the ship-from ads use.
  2. Type that warehouse’s on-hand and the other warehouses separately.
  3. Type units/day from the ads ship-from.
  4. Cut spend on ads ship-from cover, not the blend.

  • Counting in-transit between warehouses as ads ship-from.
  • Inventing a 14-day chip.
