Trial start is not paid convert
Trials started minus paid converts make drop %. Drop % = (trials − paid) ÷ trials × 100. Type both.
Pair: Trial-to-paid drop on Subscriptions. Keep after convert: convert vs refund. Rebill cash: trial to rebill.
What you type
Trials started — trial starts in the cohort window.
Paid converts — trials that reached first paid convert in that same window.
Drop % = (trials − paid) ÷ trials × 100. Fix offer or card capture when drop % is fat — do not invent a drop chip.
What not to do
Do not invent drop %. Do not subtract refunds here (that is convert-vs-refund). Do not count rebill cash as paid convert. Do not average every offer when one owns the hole.
