Club bill day is not capture day
Scheduled bill day and actual capture day make drift. Drift days = |actual − scheduled|. Type both.
Pair: Club bill-day drift on Subscriptions. Descriptor: rebill descriptor drift. Prenote: ACH prenote lag.
What you type
Scheduled day — club / CRM planned bill day for the cohort window.
Actual day — day the capture actually posted in that same window.
Drift days = absolute difference. Fix calendar or retry rules when drift is fat — do not invent a drift chip.
What not to do
Do not invent drift. Do not mix descriptor text into bill day. Do not treat prenote holds as calendar drift. Do not average every club when one owns the lag.
Related: Subscriptions, rebill descriptor drift, ACH prenote lag, dunning exhaustion.
