Dunning attempts can exhaust without recover
Attempts can end as recovered or exhausted. Recovery % = recovered / attempts × 100. Type attempts, recovered, and exhausted.
Pair: Dunning exhaustion on Subscriptions. Channel $: email vs SMS. Family table: dunning calendar.
What you type
Attempts — dunning attempt rows in the window. Use the export. Do not use a blog rate.
Recovered — attempts that got a bill or payment back.
Exhausted — last tries with no recover. Keep them inside the attempt set.
Recovery % = recovered / attempts × 100. Exhausted % = exhausted / attempts × 100. Rewrite the calendar when recovery is weak. Do not invent a recovery chip.
What not to do
Do not invent a recovery percent. Do not let recovered + exhausted exceed attempts. Do not fold updater-only rows into NSF attempts. Do not treat channel $ as recovery %.
