Swap keep rate is not free margin
A SKU swap can keep MIT while margin moves. Net $ = kept swaps × (new margin − old margin). Kept = swaps × keep %. Type swaps, keep %, old margin $, and new margin $.
Pair: SKU swap margin on Subscriptions. Mix: swap vs pause. Skip $: skip vs lost margin.
What you type
Swaps — completed product / SKU swaps in the window.
Keep % — share still active after the swap (typed from CRM; not a blog average).
Old margin $ — contribution margin $ per cycle before the swap.
New margin $ — contribution margin $ per cycle after the swap.
Kept = swaps × (keep ÷ 100). Net $ = kept × (new − old). Celebrate keep only when margin holds — do not invent a keep chip.
What not to do
Do not invent a keep percent. Do not call a swap a pause. Do not ignore margin delta because keep looks high. Do not mix cancels into the swap count.
