ShipBob count-delta is not ShipMonk cycle-count variance
Divide absolute count-delta units by units counted in one ShipBob count cut. That ratio is count-delta %.
Pair: Cycle-count variance on Stock. ShipMonk twin: cycle count. Backorder twin: backorder rate.
What you type
Absolute count variance units — Absolute unit gap between ShipBob cycle count and the count sheet in the cut.
Units counted — Units counted on that same ShipBob count cut.
Count-delta % = absolute count-delta ÷ units counted × 100. Fat count-delta % usually means slot drift or ghost inventory — chase that bin; never invent a count-delta chip.
What not to do
Skip inventing count-delta %. Skip dumping a ShipMonk on-hand variance file into ShipBob fields. Skip treating backorders as count-delta. Skip blending SKUs when one bin owns the hole.
