Receiving SLA is not dock arrival
Inbound at the dock is not received on time. Type inbound units, SLA hours, and late units. Late % = (late / inbound) x 100.
Pair: Inbound receiving SLA on Stock. Sellable pool: receiving is not sellable. Count gap: ASN variance.
What you type
Inbound units - units that hit the dock / ASN in the window.
SLA hours - written receiving clock from the 3PL agreement (typed, not guessed).
Late units - units received after that clock (3PL receive report).
On-time units = inbound - late. Late % = (late / inbound) x 100. Pull the receive forward or cut ads when late % is material - do not invent a late chip.
What not to do
Do not invent late units. Do not treat dock arrival as on-time receive. Do not count quarantined lots as on-time without splitting. Do not fold zone-skip surcharges into this SLA clock.
Related: Stock, receiving is not sellable, ASN variance, zone-skip surcharge.

- Related. [Receiving is not sellable](/manuals/receiving-not-sellable) is dock vs sellable pool. This page is units past the written receiving SLA hours.
- Is this ASN variance?
- Related inbound. [ASN variance](/manuals/shipmonk-inbound-asn-variance) is expected vs received. This page is late vs on-time against the SLA clock.
- What late count should I invent?
- None. Type late units from the 3PL receive report against the written SLA.
