Multi-warehouse splits stack ship fees
One order can leave from more than one warehouse. Each split can take its own fee. Extra $ = splits × fee per split. Type splits and fee $ / split.
Pair: Split-shipment fee on Stock. Carton labels: split package fee. Remote lines: zone-skip surcharge.
What you type
Splits — multi-warehouse split shipments in the window (WMS / 3PL export — count of split events, not cartons).
Fee $ / split — written split-ship or second-warehouse fee $ you actually pay (invoice line — typed).
Extra $ = splits × fee. Consolidate inventory or rewrite the ship-from map when extra $ is material — do not invent a fee chip.
What not to do
Do not invent a per-split fee. Do not mix carton label fees into the warehouse-split field without splitting. Do not treat a one-warehouse ship as a split. Do not ignore CS-forced splits that still bill.
